My dog is a trail demon and these booties actually stay on through the whole run. The cuff design grips her leg well without rubbing, and the soles have held up against sharp rocks for weeks now.

These have already been through two muddy trail runs and a rocky path, and the paws underneath are completely clean and dry. The protective layer feels sturdy but doesn't seem to slow my dog down at all, which is exactly what I was hoping for.
